Google Forms/ Online Forms

I personally have never used Google Forms. This was my first time using it, and I liked it. It was very convenient. I do know what this means. :) This was the most convenient a survey ever got for me. I have taken many surveys generated by Google Forms, but this was my first time creating one. I look forward to using this again in the near future. :)

3/03/2017 - Infographic Reflection

infographic reflection!

I learned a lot about infographics. They can be used to compare two things, and you can add charts and data to back up your things. I kind of enjoyed this project, because it was fun to play around with the tools on the website and also it was my first time creating an infographic, so I figured out what they do, and it's pretty fascinating. Although it was fun to see what they do, I personally found the creating the infographic part time consuming because I would have to make sure everything is included to back my things up. When it comes to using and applying the infographic and the knowledge I gained from it, I could use this in school to explain differences of things characteristics in people - for presentations. In my personal life, I most probably wouldn't use infographics, but if I wanted to, I could use infographics to compare brands, prices, etc. I could also use this in business presentations because it allows for many things to be included on it, that way it is easier and more convenient for the audience/reader. I used the website Infogram. It was very convenient and easy to use. I really enjoyed using this website, and I think I would choose this website over other infographic websites in the future.

Something I Am Good At

      Something I am good at is dancing. I love to dance. I have been dancing since I was 4 years old. I learn dance as well and I really enjoy it. I would say that there is really no technique to Indian dancing, as long as you practice a lot. Indian dance is really complicated because it's usually a bunch of simple steps combined together, making it more complicated. I can say that from about 11 years of experience. :)

Current Event: Apple Airpods

I did my current event over the new Apple Airpods. They are basically the apple earphones, but they're cordless! They are waterproof, and they are coming out along with the iPhone 7. 15 minutes of charging will last you about 3 hours for the Airpods. All you have to do is take them out the case and plug them in, and the pods will automatically connect to whatever device you're using. Whether you prefer to use the Mac, iPad, or your phone to listen, Airpods can do it all.

Canva vs. Lucidpress

I think I like and prefer Lucidpress more than Canva. To support that, I have a few reasons. For one, Lucidpress is very easy to handle and simple. I do not need to be an expert to operate Lucidpress. I also do not need to be an expert in Canva, but Lucidpress is way more easy to operate. Also, Lucidpress is integrated with the Google Apps, so it is more flexible with other things as well.

My Dream Business

My dream business would be probably a hospital. I would want to place this business in the city, in fact, a very big and busy city. I would do this because I would gain a lot more customers if the hospital was placed in a more populated region. I would provide services like ER, surgery care, etc. I think this would beneficial because it would provide support and care for those in need.

4/04/2017 - My Weekend

My Weekend

               My weekend was very eventful. I hung out with some of my friends. I also went to the temple for an event that took place. I surprisingly saw a few of my friends there. On Saturday night, my friend and her family celebrated by having a housewarming party, as they recently bought a new house, and also did some renovating to it. It looked so good!!

3/22/2017 - Spring Break 2017

Spring Break 2017

My spring break was very relaxing and I loved sleeping in every day. I didn't go anywhere special, but my mom and I went out for shopping and eating out like every day and I really enjoyed it. My dad came home from work, but this time my brother came along with him, as he came home from college and it really made me happy. He took me out to Cheesecake Factory twice during the break and I really liked it. My friends also surprised me and took me out to dinner one night, and it ended being a wonderful night. I may not have gone to exciting and exotic tourist places, but my family and friends and I spent a lot of time together and it was amazing. :)

An info-graphic can help convey your message by appealing the reader into the message with the way the info-graphic is created and what it proves.

You can use an info-graphic to maybe talk about a book or even a topic to give the audience more information over something.

I completely agree with this TED Talk about people in this generation being way too attached to technology and forgetting the people surrounding them. Using any texting apps to chat deprive people of an actual conversation and any social interaction. After watching and understanding this TED Talk, I will definitely start to reduce the amount of reliance I have currently on technology. The digital age will aid us in making many more developments in the world. If the society started to use technology as a use, and not a "companion", society can positively benefit from this digital age and we can change how people act around other people.

  This has a lot of meaning. The main idea of these words is that you have to work hard and earn things by yourself, as the world does not owe you things like fun. You have to put in lots of effort to get the result. Your parents can't always do everything for you. In order to have a life and do other things, you need to work hard. You need to stay strong and stop crying that you don't have things to do because in reality, you have so many tasks you can accomplish instead of just sitting there.

2. Yes, I think it is beneficial and helpful, because for one, it saves time. It is very helpful for marketing.

1/20/2017 - PREZI Reflection

1. If I had to compare between PowerPoint and Prezi, I think Prezi is way more efficient and easier to use. Prezi is better at saving your work and also, I think it looks a little artsier and people can actually enjoy using this tool.

2. I think PowerPoint would create a more effective presentation, due to the fact that PowerPoint creates a feeling of more professional, whereas Prezi is more "playful" and artistic.

3. I think PowerPoint would be for used more for business use, and Prezi would be used for maybe personal use, or more casual presentations.

4. I would prefer to use Prezi the next time I create a presentation.
